Which Comes First? The Job or the Experience?

According to Forbes.com, majority of employers requiring a bachelor degree or more, also require an average of 4 to 5 years of related work experience. Unless nepotism is in your favor, it is rare that you will find related work experience to satisfy entry-level requirements. Gradstaff found that in 2016, 70% of graduate were either unemployed or working a non-career job to survive. There are a few things you can do to get past this dilemma in the event that you don't have the experiences needed for a job analysis. (1) Apply to an opening that is better suited for your skillset. Maybe becoming an office manager or executive assistant straight out of university is far-fetched. Starting from the bottom as a receptionist or administrative assistant will give you the experience you need to apply in a year or two...
